Dell Technologies has unveiled a revamped commercial portfolio spanning notebooks, workstations, desktops, monitors and peripherals, targeting enterprise buyers ahead of a major PC refresh cycle driven by artificial intelligence adoption and hybrid work demands.
Thinner, lighter notebooks for every business user
The new Dell Pro notebook lineup is available with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 and AMD Ryzen AI 400 processors, supporting on-device AI workloads and Copilot+ PC experiences. Dell’s modular design approach shrinks the motherboard to allow for larger cooling fans, greater battery capacity and wider silicon flexibility within the same chassis.
The range includes four tiers. The Dell Pro Premium targets executives with a 14-inch magnesium alloy chassis, a Tandem OLED display option, an 8MP HDR camera and a profile up to seven per cent thinner than the previous generation. The Dell Pro 7, aimed at consultants and sales professionals, is now up to 18 per cent thinner and is the thinnest 13- and 14-inch commercial laptop and 2-in-1 in its class. The Dell Pro 5 offers the most configuration flexibility in 14- and 16-inch sizes, and is up to 21 per cent thinner than competing designs. The Dell Pro 3 rounds out the lineup as the entry-level option for core productivity tasks, starting at 2.89 pounds.
Workstations and desktops for power users
Dell has relaunched its workstation line under the Dell Pro Precision brand. The new Dell Pro Precision 5S is the thinnest and lightest Dell mobile workstation ever at 3.1 pounds, targeting engineers, content creators and designers. It supports Intel Core Ultra Series 3 with integrated Intel Arc Pro graphics or AMD Ryzen AI 400 processors with AMD Radeon Pro graphics.
The Dell Pro Precision 5 and 7 series mobile workstations ship with NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell Generation GPUs for advanced rendering and AI workflows. The Dell Pro Precision 9 T2/T4/T6 desktop towers support up to five NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell Generation 300W GPUs across 15 PCIe slots.
A new Dell Pro 5 Micro desktop delivers Copilot+ PC capabilities in a compact form factor, with 50 TOPS NPU performance and USB-C power delivery up to 100W, allowing it to be powered directly from a compatible monitor.
Security, manageability and sustainability
Across the portfolio, Dell has introduced quantum-resistant BIOS upgrades and Halcyon software for ransomware resilience. A standardised BIOS architecture across Intel and AMD platforms simplifies fleet deployment, while a cloud-based Intel vPro provisioning solution enables zero-touch remote deployment.
Dell says it is the first PC manufacturer to offer modular USB-C ports in commercial PCs, with customer-replaceable batteries and mainboards across the Pro notebook range. The company also claims the widest portfolio of commercial PCs with 100 per cent recycled cobalt batteries.
Monitors and peripherals
The Dell Pro P monitor lineup has been expanded for hybrid workers. The Dell Pro P 34 USB-C Hub Conferencing Monitor is certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom, featuring a Sony Starvis 5MP HDR camera, AI auto-framing and dual beamforming noise-cancellation microphones. All Dell Pro P monitors carry TÜV Rheinland 4-star eye comfort certification and are made with up to 95 per cent post-consumer recycled plastic.
New peripherals include the Dell Pro 5 Wired Fingerprint ESS Mouse with Windows Hello authentication, the Dell Pro 7 Slim Keyboard and Mouse with up to 48 months of battery life, and the Dell Pro 7 Rechargeable Compact Keyboard and Mouse, which uses supercapacitor technology for a five-second quick charge delivering a full day of use.
Availability
The Dell Pro 14 Premium and Dell Pro 5 Micro will be available from 31 March. The Dell Pro 3, Pro 5 and Pro 7 notebooks, along with the Dell Pro Precision 5S and 9 series, are expected in May. Several Dell Pro P monitors and the Dell Pro 7 Slim Keyboard and Mouse are already available globally.
“IT leaders can deploy sleek and modern devices users actually want to use at every level of the organisation, along with improved performance, without sacrificing the manageability, security or value they demand.” — Rob Bruckner, President, Client Solutions Group, Dell Technologies
