ChargedUp: EV Conference & Expo Singapore (ChargedUp@SG) will return for its second edition from 6 to 9 November 2025, with an expanded programme hosted at Singapore Management University (SMU).
Organised by event consultancy Upsight, the four-day event aims to accelerate electric vehicle (EV) adoption in Singapore and Southeast Asia through conferences, exhibitions, test drives, workshops and lifestyle activations.
Building on inaugural success
The first ChargedUp@SG, held in April 2025, drew several thousand attendees and featured more than 35 speakers. EVs from brands including BYD, Tesla, Porsche and MG were on display, while charging providers such as Huawei and Eigen Digital demonstrated new solutions.
According to organisers, all test drive slots were fully booked, underscoring growing interest in EV adoption among Singaporean consumers and businesses.
This year’s edition, branded ChargedUp@SG 2.0, promises to be “bigger and more comprehensive”, said Upsight. It will feature a regional lineup of keynote speakers, alongside business-to-business showcases and public-facing activities.
Key highlights in November
The programme includes:
Industry conference (6–7 November): Sessions on charging infrastructure, seamless mobility networks and strategies to scale EV adoption. Early confirmed speakers include Charge+, Huawei, PowerUp, Schneider Electric and SMBC-Aravest Infrastructure Fund. B2B exhibition (6–7 November): A curated showcase of charging technologies and enabling services. Workshops and site tours (7 November): Visits to manufacturing facilities and charging sites, offering stakeholders practical exposure. Public EV showcase (6–9 November): Passenger and commercial EVs from leading brands, with test drives open to attendees. Festival and lifestyle zone (6–9 November): Food and retail vendors supported by Vehicle-to-Load demonstrations, where EVs directly power equipment such as coffee machines and sewing machines.
Lead-up events in October will include panel discussions and innovation showcases.
Singapore’s EV push
Singapore has committed to phasing out internal combustion engine cars by 2040 and achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
Organisers say ChargedUp is positioned as a “catalyst for innovation and ecosystem growth”, with plans to extend insights from the conference into digital platforms and venture projects across Southeast Asia.
Partnership with SMU
The 2025 edition also marks a new collaboration with Singapore Management University. Through the university’s experiential learning programme SMU-X, students will work on live case projects around EV adoption.
Upsight founder and chief executive Valerie Lim, an SMU alumna, said the partnership aims to “make EVs tangible, accessible and relevant to all” while connecting academia with industry.
“We were thrilled by the overwhelming response to our inaugural event earlier this year,” she said. “Beyond bringing the ecosystem together, we are also addressing the practical need to educate both businesses and consumers.”
ChargedUp@SG 2.0 will run from 6 to 9 November 2025 at SMU’s city campus. Full details of exhibitors and speakers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Organisers said they expect to welcome policymakers, fleet operators, businesses and EV enthusiasts as Singapore continues to strengthen its role in Southeast Asia’s electric mobility transition.
