Echelon Singapore 2025 Returns with Strong Focus on Startup Growth and Cross-Border Innovation

Southeast Asia’s flagship tech and startup summit, Echelon Singapore, is set to make its return on 10–11 June 2025 at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. Now in its 11th year, the event expects to draw more than 8,000 participants – including startup founders, investors, corporate leaders and government stakeholders – with a renewed emphasis on business growth, regional collaboration and startup-SME enablement.

Organised by tech media platform e27, this year’s edition will feature over 150 speakers across three themed stages – Future, Forge, and Growth – and more than 50 stage sessions delving into topics such as generative AI, ESG, maritime tech, climate tech, fintech, and disaster technology.

Among the notable speakers are Dong Shou, Chairman of ADVANCE.AI; Aaron Tan, CEO of Carro; Anuj Srivastava, Founder and Chairman of Livspace; Maureen Chong, Regional VP of Zendesk; and Nicole Ngeow, Executive Director of Prudence Foundation. The speaker list reflects a broad regional footprint with voices from Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Thailand, as well as Singaporean leaders such as Jeremy Tan, Mountbatten GE2025 candidate, and Dr. Yaacob Ibrahim, former Minister and current Professor at the Singapore Institute of Technology.

Strategic MOUs signal deeper regional cooperation

Echelon 2025 will also serve as a launchpad for regional cooperation, with three Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) to be formalised during the event. e27 is partnering with SparkLabs Taiwan, Chung Yuan Christian University, and Singapore’s Centre for Social Enterprise (raiSE.sg) to boost accelerator support, foster academic-industry collaboration, and advance the ESG-driven impact startup ecosystem.

“Echelon has always been about more than just stage time and startup booths,” said Mohan Belani, CEO and Co-Founder of e27. “This year, we’re focused on breaking silos and building something lasting. The future of tech in Asia depends on how we work together – and here is where that work begins.”

TOP100 returns to spotlight Asia’s rising startups

The conference also marks the return of the TOP100 programme, a regional startup discovery platform that will showcase over 100 promising early-stage companies from more than 10 Asian markets. The top ten startups will pitch live on the main stage to a regional audience of investors and media.

In partnership with Thailand’s National Innovation Agency (NIA), participating founders will gain access to Echelon Connect – a curated business matching platform facilitating 1-on-1 meetings with corporates, investors, and partners to fast-track growth, funding, and market access.

Rallying regional ecosystems

Beyond Southeast Asia, the event is welcoming expanded participation from emerging startup ecosystems in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Taiwan. These ecosystems will be highlighted through dedicated country showcases and roundtables, reflecting e27’s efforts to strengthen intermarket linkages and promote inclusive innovation across Asia.
