StarHub Launches Flagship Store at Paragon, Redefining the Telco Retail Experience

StarHub has unveiled its new flagship shop at Paragon on Orchard Road, marking its 25th anniversary with a bold move to transform the conventional telco storefront into an immersive lifestyle destination.

More than just a retail outlet, the new store is designed to feel like a tech-savvy living space – open, intuitive and inviting. The telco says the new approach aims to make technology feel less transactional and more experiential, aligning with shifting consumer expectations around service and engagement.

At the heart of the shop is “The Lawn” – a serene waiting area ringed by digital displays showcasing StarHub’s latest offerings. Instead of ticketing machines and service counters, customers are greeted by a concierge and notified via SMS when a service advisor is ready. Names are displayed on a tablet during the interaction, making for a more personalised experience. Customers can also book appointments online for added convenience.

The flagship features dedicated areas for mobile devices, accessories and home entertainment. Interactive zones allow visitors to try out broadband plans, streaming content and smart home tech, with curated “Customer Favourites” walls helping customers discover trending products.

For StarHub’s Platinum customers, a private lounge offers complimentary coffee and priority support.

Opening Deals and Events

To mark the launch, StarHub is rolling out a suite of in-store promotions valid through 8 June. These include:

Football fans will also have a reason to stop by – a meet-and-greet with Premier League legends John Barnes and Joe Hart is scheduled for 24 May.

In the coming weeks, StarHub Paragon will host tech talks by Apple and OPPO, mobile health checks by Asurion, and offer Galaxy phone wraps with select purchases.

A New Chapter in Retail Strategy

The new Paragon store signals a strategic shift for StarHub, as it looks to elevate customer engagement through a more human-centred and digitally enhanced retail experience.

As the telco sector evolves, StarHub’s flagship suggests the future of retail lies in blending tech, comfort and personal service — all under one roof.
