Samsung Launches Galaxy A06 5G in Singapore, Offering Affordable 5G and Long-Term Software Support

Samsung Electronics Singapore is bringing 5G connectivity to more users with the launch of its new Galaxy A06 5G, available in Singapore from 21 March 2025. Priced at S$228, the device is the latest addition to the Galaxy A Series and is aimed at users seeking solid performance, reliable security and a sleek design at an accessible price point.

The Galaxy A06 5G features a 6.7-inch display and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, promising smooth multitasking and gaming. It also packs a 5,000mAh battery with 25W Superfast Charging, designed to keep users powered throughout the day with minimal interruption.

In line with Samsung’s broader focus on security, the A06 5G comes integrated with One UI 7 and Samsung Knox Vault, which securely isolates sensitive data such as passwords. The device will also receive four years of Android OS and One UI upgrades, as well as four years of security updates – a notable commitment for a phone at this price tier.

Beyond performance and software, the A06 5G is designed for durability. It sports an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance and weighs just 189g, making it light yet resilient for everyday use. The phone will be available in Black, Light Gray and Light Green.
