SHARP, the Japanese consumer technology giant, has officially unveiled its latest innovation, the AQUOS sense9, which made its debut in Singapore on 7

November 2024, coinciding with its launch in Japan. Designed to combine sophisticated aesthetics with robust durability, the smartphone marks SHARP’s commitment to blending cutting-edge technology with Japanese lifestyle design.

In an exclusive move, SHARP is introducing the sense9 in a vibrant Coral colourway that will only be available in Singapore, alongside Black, White, and Blue options.

The AQUOS sense9 stands out with its military-grade durability, meeting MIL-STD-810H standards for waterproofing and shock resistance and MIL-STD-810G specifications for drop resistance. Weighing just 166 grams, the compact device is designed under the creative direction of Miyake Design to ensure a balance of elegance and resilience.

The Pro IGZO OLED display further enhances its appeal, delivering power efficiency alongside high-end visuals. With a dynamic refresh rate of up to 240Hz and brightness levels peaking at 2,000 nits, users can enjoy smooth, vivid visuals, even under direct sunlight.

Equipped with the Snapdragon® 7s Gen 2 Mobile Platform and a 5,000mAh battery, the sense9 ensures fast, reliable performance. Combined with SHARP’s power-efficient display, the device offers up to two days of usage on a single charge based on 10 hours of daily use.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the sense9’s dual 50.3MP cameras, featuring a standard lens with optical image stabilization and a wide-angle lens capable of capturing intricate details as close as 2.5cm. A 32MP front camera, enhanced by night mode, ensures high-quality selfies even in low-light conditions.

The ProPix imaging engine, borrowed from SHARP’s AQUOS R Pro series, further elevates the device’s photo quality by delivering lifelike textures and smooth gradations.

The AQUOS sense9 is now available on SHARP’s CocoroLife e-store and at retail outlets such as Best Denki, Challenger, Courts, and selected dealers. SHARP silicone cases in six global colours are also available to complement the phone’s design, with the Coral edition serving as a standout feature unique to Singapore.
