GoodHood.SG, Singapore’s leading community platform, has collaborated with Social Service Agencies within the SG Cares Network to address critical community needs. The initiative involves mobilizing the community to donate essential items valued at $5 million by the end of 2024.

- GoodHood.SG has partnered with prominent Social Service Agencies, including Care Corner Singapore, Lions Befrienders Service Association, and TOUCH Community Services, to identify and prioritize essential items for vulnerable individuals and families.
- The platform aims to declutter $5 million worth of items by leveraging insights gained through consultations with partner agencies, focusing on critical areas such as household furniture, infant care essentials, elderly care items, non-perishable food items, educational supplies, and toiletries.
- With Singpass and CHAS-card verification, GoodHood.SG ensures a secure and verified process for members, encouraging the public to contribute to Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) verified users during spring cleaning and the upcoming Lunar New Year.
- Since its launch in 2020, GoodHood.SG has built a nationwide network of over 83,000 members, facilitating the exchange of 81,000 items exceeding $2.6 million in value, with a focus on supporting 2,200 verified beneficiaries.
