PICO launches the all-in-one VR headset, PICO 4, in Singapore

PICO, a leading virtual reality (VR) company with independent innovation and research and development creation capabilities, has announced the official launch of PICO 4 in Singapore, following its global reveal in September this year. The deviceprovides an all-in-one digital experience for consumers to build new connections, reimagine everyday routines, and unlock boundless potential in VR.

With the growing adoption of technology, VR continues to gain widespread recognition and has increasingly become a mainstay across various industries, such as gaming, fitness, and entertainment. The VR market in Asia Pacific is expected to reach $16.6 billion by 2026, with Singapore alone seeing a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10.46% (2022-2027). PICO’s official entry into Singapore will cater directly to this fast-growing market by providing a full suite of services for the PICO 4, with the aim of making the VR experience more accessible to all. This includes a dedicated PICO team based in Singapore, comprising on-the-ground customer service experts, official agents, and mainstream retail partners, like Singtel.

Form meets function and entertainment

The PICO 4 headset comes with a hardware design that seamlessly balances both innovative features with intuitive functions to create an accessible and immersive experience for all. This includes a headset with evenly distributed weight, providing stable, yet comfortable, gameplay.

The VR headset is also built with a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 processor, 4K+ level 90Hz display, proprietary pancake optical lens, and 105° ultra-wide field of view. The upgraded optical sensors and 6DoF (six degrees of freedom) touch controllers with all-round sensors also ensure that every movement made is swift, intuitive, and seamless when using the device. This, accompanied by a robust suite of over 130 applications that span across fitness, gaming, cinematic adventures, and social platforms, will connect users to a world of infinite possibilities.

Customers to get a first-hand experience at Funan Mall

From 31 October to 6 November, consumers in Singapore can head down to Basement 2 at Funan Mall to get a first-hand experience of PICO 4. Those interested can also register to participate in game challenges from 4 November to 6 November, and stand a chance to win the all-new PICO 4 headset.

PICO 4: Where and how to buy

From 1 November 2022, the PICO 4 128GB and 256GB will be available for purchase at S$499 and S$599 respectively online on TikTok ShopShopee and Lazada.
