Avanade, the leading digital innovator on the Microsoft ecosystem, has appointed Rodrigo De Queiroz Caserta as the new Area President for Growth Markets. He takes the reins from Anna Di Silverio, who will assume the role of Area President for Europe. Both appointments are effective from September 1, 2020.
In his new role, Rodrigo will be responsible for driving the growth of Avanade’s business and leading a team of nearly 3,000 professionals across Australia, Brazil, Greater China, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore. He will move from São Paulo, Brazil, to be based in Singapore. Rodrigo will report directly to Pamela Maynard, CEO of Avanade and will also join the company’s Executive Committee.
“I am delighted that Rodrigo is stepping up to lead Avanade in Growth Markets and help our clients navigate the future. His passion for people and innovation together with his track record of success as General Manager of Brazil make him the ideal choice to succeed Anna in this role,” said Maynard. “I’d also like to thank Anna for the tremendous impact that she has made on our business over the past five years. I’m looking forward to continuing to work with her as Area President of Europe.”
Rodrigo joined Avanade Brazil in 2015 as Sales Lead and became General Manager in 2016. Under his leadership, Avanade Brazil has experienced consistent double-digit growth and expanded the size of the team to more than 1,000 employees. As a member of Avanade’s Corporate Citizenship Council representing Growth Markets, Rodrigo helped expand the STEM Scholarship program in Brazil and launched a new initiative to train and employ mature professionals. In 2019, Avanade Brazil was recognized by Glassdoor as one of the Best Places to Work in the country.
“Growth Markets is home to some of the world’s most dynamic and multi-cultural geographies. It is also home to some of the most talented people I’ve worked with at Avanade. I look forward to working closely with the team – helping our clients build greater resilience in their businesses and creating exceptional experiences,” said Rodrigo.
Rodrigo holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and attended the Authentic Leader Development course at Harvard Business School.
