World’s first smartphone with a rear quad camera now available for pre-order

The Samsung Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A9 are now available for pre-order through the Samsung Official Store on Lazada.sg between 30 October (12 pm) and 9 November (11.59 pm).

Priced at S$428 for the Galaxy A7 and S$728 for the Galaxy A9, the new A-series models are packed with features to empower millennials to create creative content. Notably with their 120-degree ultra wide lens.

Here’s a quick recap of what the latest A-series offer:

• Featuring the world’s first rear quad camera, the Galaxy A9 allows users to enjoy 4X the fun to capture dynamic ultra-wide, sharp close-ups, impressive low light and artistic bokeh shots effortlessly. The Galaxy A7, on the other hand, comes equipped with a powerful rear triple camera so that users can capture more memories in different ways.
• Equipped with the 120º Ultra Wide Lens, which has approximately the same viewing angle as the human eye, the Galaxy A9 and A7 enables users to capture expansive wide-angle photos. The Galaxy A9 features a 2X Optical Zoom, so users can capture stable and sharper close-up shots, even without getting close.
• Users can also get crisp, clear photos in both bright and low light conditions with the Galaxy A7 and A9’s 24MP Main Lens which automatically lets more light in by combining four pixels into one pixel in low light conditions.
• Selfies will be taken to the next level thanks to the range of built-in tools on the Galaxy A series, in particular – Smart Beauty, which accentuates facial features and Pro Lighting, which allows users to add studio-quality lighting effects to their portraits.
• Users can enjoy the ultimate cinematic experience with the 6.3-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display on the Galaxy A9 and the 6.0-inch¹ FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display on the Galaxy A7, which make the most of uninterrupted, immersive viewing. Both devices also support Dolby Atmos®³ immersive sound technology, which brings entertainment to life through moving audio that flows all around users.
• The Galaxy A series devices are equipped with enhanced everyday features, allowing users to do more. Boasting a 3,800mAH battery, the Galaxy A9 offers users added versatility and long-lasting usage on the device. The Galaxy A9 and A7 also support microSD cards, which offers users the option of an expandable storage capacity of up to 512GB to store their treasured memories without ever having to worry about running out of space.

• The Galaxy A7 has also been equipped with convenient authentication options, offering users hassle-free ways to unlock their devices through facial recognition and a side fingerprint scanner.

All consumers who successfully purchase the Galaxy A7 during the exclusive pre-order will receive a Lazada e-voucher worth $150 via email within 15 days of delivery of their Galaxy A7.

Also available for pre-order is the Galaxy J6+ and Galaxy J4+, which are priced at S$328 and S$248 respectively. Although the J-series are lower-end models as compared to the A-series, Samsung has been working on improving the series to keep it up-to-date with the current needs.

• Equipped with convenient authentication options, users of the Galaxy J4+ can unlock their device via facial recognition while users of the Galaxy J6+ can unlock it via both facial recognition and the side fingerprint scanner.
• The Galaxy J series is also equipped with enhanced everyday features so that users can achieve more with their devices. The Galaxy J6+ and J4+ feature a 3,300mAH battery offering longer-lasting usage. In addition, they also sport dual-sim capabilities with the option of an expandable storage capacity of up to 512GB.
