First Co-Innovation Space opens in Singapore

The world leader in semiconductor solutions, Infineon Technologies today opened its Co-Innovation Space that aims to help start-ups accelerate the development of their “prototypes or viable semiconductor solutions.”

By bringing in select start-ups to set up their labs in the 250-square metre Co-Innovation Space, which is located in Infineon Technologies, the company believes that the cross-knowledge sharing between both sides can be mutually beneficial.

The partnership will see Infineon Technologies share valuable insights of its business operations and network with the start-up partners. It will also give them access to its research and development, and manufacturing facilities.

On the other hand, the start-ups offer Infineon Technologies knowledge on their innovative approach to designing new products and solutions of tomorrow.

President and Managing Director of Infineon Asia Pacific, Chua Chee Seong said:

“Working closely together with the start-ups give us the opportunities to exchange knowledge while providing them access to technologies, the network of partners and customers around the world. Through the Infineon Co-Innovation Space, we look forward to new products that will impact the world and make life easier, safer and greener for society.”

There are currently four selected start-ups working on their products at the Co-Innovation Space.
