Arbor has announced a significant partnership with the Hong Kong Economic Journal and The New York Times, providing discounted bundled subscriptions to its customers. As part of this agreement, The New York Times will offer seven articles per day to Arbor app users who do not already subscribe to The Times. This collaboration represents a major milestone in Arbor’s mission to deliver high-quality journalism from authoritative sources to its global user base.
Since its launch three months ago, Arbor has experienced rapid growth, attracting over 100,000 users worldwide. This rapid adoption highlights the growing demand for reliable, trusted news and the consolidation and curation of relevant information for users.
With the new subscription service, Arbor users will gain access to unique perspectives and insightful analysis from credible publishers, including the Hong Kong Economic Journal and The New York Times.

Cass Adamson, Executive Director for International Licensing at The New York Times, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership: “As The New York Times carries out our mission to help every curious person seeking to understand and engage with the world, agreements like this are a way to reach global audiences. We’re happy to be working with Arbor alongside a number of other media organizations in their suite of offerings.”
Mr. Cheong Shin Keong, Chairman of the Hong Kong Economic Journal, also praised the collaboration: “We believe access to high-quality journalism is a game changer for tomorrow’s business world. It is exciting to see a tech company with the vision and capability to cultivate advanced technology to deliver selections of high-quality journalism from mainstream media and other innovative solutions for news delivery.”
