Dell Technologies has announced the launch of a concept design challenge, Reimagined: #BuiltWithPrecision, that aims to showcase the capabilities of Dell Precision workstations. Participants from six countries in the Asia Pacific and Japan region, including architectural students, aspiring architects, up-and-coming designers and creator communities, will reimagine a selected landmark in their country using technology and sustainability. Over a period of 30 days, 12 participants will develop their concept designs using Precision mobile workstations, with submissions closing on May 10, 2023.
Dell Precision workstations have been renowned for over 25 years for enabling creators to pursue their ambitions and realise their creative visions. The Reimagined: #BuiltWithPrecision challenge is aimed at empowering the next generation of creators and leveraging their visions to realise their ideas with Precision.
The challenge participants will have the opportunity to experience the prowess of Dell Precision workstations, including the Precision 5470, the thinnest and smallest 14” mobile workstation that delivers performance levels only offered in larger workstations. The workstation is verified for the Intel® Evo™ platform requirements and based on the Intel vPro® platform. It comes with up to 64GB of DDR5 memory, up to 4TB of storage and up to NVIDIA RTXTM A1000 graphics.
The Dell Precision 7670 and 7770 are designed to enhance creativity with a focus on power. These new Precision series mobile workstations feature the latest thermal innovations, powerful CPU technologies, and new designs that provide more flexibility. Both laptops are equipped with 12th Gen Intel® Core™ up to i9 processors with Intel vPro®, up to next-gen 16GB NVIDIA RTXTM A5500 graphics, and up to 128GB of DDR5 memory. All these Precision mobile workstations are ISV-certified.
The submissions will be reviewed and scored by a panel of judges from Dell Technologies, who will evaluate them based on criteria such as overall innovativeness of the concept, quality of the design, outstanding use of technology, incorporation of sustainability, and relevance of the new concept to local cultural contexts. The challenge winners will be announced in May 2023. Members of the public can also view and vote for their favourite concept designs via participants’ LinkedIn pages and Dell Technologies’ LinkedIn page.
