ALE, operating under the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise brand, and mobile manufacturer Samsung Electronics Singapore announced they had formed a strategic partnership to offer an integrated mobile solution that assists businesses in creating the workplace of the future.

Research shows 80 per cent of enterprises say employees can’t do their job without mobility¹, and that a mobile employee fulfils 240 hours of productivity per year². ALE and Samsung address these facts and the challenges of deploying a mobile workforce, including compliance and security, control of the network and personal vs business-related usage. By bundling connectivity, security, communications and computing with a cloud-based collaboration application, the two companies deliver a joint offering unique to the market at an affordable monthly fee.

The collaboration of industry-leading products – Samsung’s DeX3 for mobile, Samsung KNOX security and Alcatel-Lucent Rainbow™ – are optimally designed to deliver a new level of mobility and productivity. Additionally, the solution can be customised to meet specific business needs and integrate with business processes, applications and technologies, such as AI and BOTs, enabling easy adoption at any stage of a company’s digital transformation journey.

The initial offer will be available in Singapore starting in Q1 2019.

Mr Eugene Goh, President of Samsung Electronics Singapore, said:

“Today’s workplace is evolving to become increasingly mobile. With smartphone and cloud computing at the centre of this transformation, developing innovative solutions and forming open collaborations are key in supporting this shift. As a forward-thinking industry leader, Samsung partners with ALE to create secure, integrated communication offering that will enhance employee experiences in this connected workplace of the future.”

Pierre Samson, Vice President, Asia-Pacific at ALE, said:

“The bundled solution revolutionises how businesses in Singapore can adopt a secure solution with enterprise-grade management for the mobile workforce. ALE is excited for the opportunity to work with Samsung assisting customers in their digital transformation.”
