You reap what you sow. You queue overnight and you’ll be one of the first to get your hands on the latest iPhone.

However, that wasn’t the case for 30-year-old Rekha Nallamothu who only had to stay home for hers.

Rekha is the first buyer to get her hands on the iPhone XS Max when she purchased it on Lazada at 8 am and she received it 25 minutes later.

She said:

“I couldn’t wait to get the new iPhone but I didn’t want to queue overnight either. My entire family loves iPhones, especially my husband. I bought the iPhone XS Max for him and he’s so excited because he got it faster than his friends,” said Mrs Nallamothu.

The iPhone XS 256GB (Space Grey) and Apple Watch Series 4 (Space Grey) were sold out within one hour on Lazada this morning.

Lazada shared that the traffic to their Apple Flagship Store on their e-commerce site went up by 57 times as to normal days. Though the online sale started at 8 am, deliveries left the Lazada warehouse three minutes later.

Chief Executive Officer of Lazada Singapore, Alexis Lanternier said:

“We knew our time-strapped customers would be excited to get the new iPhone as soon as possible, so we prepared weeks in advance with our partners to make it happen. From time of order to time received, our first customer received her iPhone XS Max in 25 minutes in the most hassle-free way possible.”
